I have decided that the first place I am going to visit when I graduate from Rhodes University is India. New Delhi is going to be my place of departure and from there on I wish to explore all this beautiful country has to offer.
Inspired by the book, Eat Pray Love which gives an amazing account of Elizabeth Gilbert's experience in three different countries, I fell in love with India. I hope that I am not disappointed, but I doubt that will be the case. India has an array of cultures, beautiful clothes and designs and an amazing sense of culture amongst its people. The Indian cuisine is amazing and has inspired many dishes around the world. They also have a very successful movie industry, Bollywood, which has successfully incorporated modern Indian culture and lifestyle ideals with their traditions and culture. India has an astonishing contrast between poverty and wealth, technology and historical monuments and this is what makes it so beautiful.
